Hero Coatings manufactures coatings and adhesives used by customers with solvent-coating equipment that serve many different industries, including textiles, non-wovens, plastic, film and paper.

Functional Coatings provides water-based and hot-melt coating and laminating services for the shoe, textile, foam, automotive, medical, packaging, printing, furniture, carpet label and other industries. Functional also provides specialized slitting, sheeting and converting services.

Hero was founded in 1968, Functional in 1989. Today the companies occupy a 40,000 square foot facility in a modern Industrial Park located in Newburyport, Massachusetts.
